Qu’est-ce qu’une ICO ?
Les ICOs (Initial coin Offering) sont devenus un moyen populaire de financer le lancement d’un projet via l’émission d’actifs numériques échangeables contre des crypto-monnaies. Ce processus, un peu comparable au crowdfunding, permet donc aux développeurs d’un projet, généralement basé sur la Blockchain, de récolter les fonds nécessaires au bon développement dudit projet et fonctionne comme un mécanisme de distribution initial de tokens tradables. Ces tokens ne constituent pas une part de la société émettrices (comme le serait une action) mais plutôt un droit, par exemple, d’utilisation d’un futur service.
